Scott Satterthwaite oversees business development and account management activities for American Risk Services. With more than twenty-five years of experience in the automotive finance insurance marketplace, Scott has developed an understanding of customer needs and works to design programs that creatively address customer risk concerns and fee generation aspirations. Scott has been a part of American Risk Services’ senior management team since 2010.
Prior to this, Scott was an Officer and Product Manager within the Great American Insurance Company's Premier Lease and Loan Services operating division, focusing on Residual Value Insurance, Lessor's Contingent and Excess Liability programs, and Collateral Protection coverage. Scott also gained valuable experience working for American Auto Shield, a Vehicle Service Contract Administrator, where he held the position of Vice President of Underwriting.
Scott has earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration (MBA), both from the University of Cincinnati. He is married to Emily and together they have three children – Jason, Maggie, and Ben. Scott and Emily reside in Lebanon, Ohio a suburb of Cincinnati.
